Report an error

If any fact, question, or explanation on this site looks wrong, use the contact form with the topic “Correction.” Include the page URL and what you believe is incorrect. You do not need to be sure — a reasonable doubt is enough for us to re-verify.

How corrections work

  1. We re-verify the disputed fact against the official source.
  2. If we were wrong, the page is corrected immediately.
  3. Material corrections are logged below with the date, page, and what changed. The page’s modified date is updated honestly.
  4. If the report came with contact details, we reply with the outcome either way.

Correction log

August 15, 2026 — NCMA passing-score scale

Our medical assistant certification comparison incorrectly listed the NCCT NCMA passing score as “Scaled 70,” including inside a verification box. NCCT’s January 2026 Candidate Handbook and standalone scoring-scale update state that certification exam scores run from 200 to 720 and all pass points are scaled to 575. We changed every NCMA score reference on the comparison page to “575 on a 200–720 scale” and added the source date. The error affected the displayed score scale; it did not affect the exam owner, fee, question count, or time limit.

July 27, 2026 — ASWB Exam Format 2026

Corrected: An earlier version of this page stated that the 2026 ASWB exam has “122 scored questions.” The correct figure is 122 total questions: 110 scored and 12 unscored pretest questions. Score targets, passing ranges, and pacing guidance have been updated throughout this page to reflect the correct 110-question scored total. The same correction has been applied to the ASWB Masters and Clinical exam hub pages, which carried the same error.
