Accuracy includes being willing to correct the record. This page explains how to report a concern and preserves a public log of material corrections.

Report a possible error

Use the contact form and select Correction. Include the page address, question number or item identifier if available, and what appears incorrect. For a book, include the title, edition or ISBN, and page or question number.

A source link or explanation is helpful, but not required. You do not need to be certain that Castleport is wrong, purchase anything, or prove professional expertise to raise a concern.

Do not send confidential patient or client information, passwords, identification documents, or questions recalled from a secure exam. Describe the Castleport content at issue rather than reproducing protected exam material.

How a report is handled

The first task is to understand the claim and its potential consequences. Issues affecting safety, an answer key, eligibility, an exam format, or a material purchase decision should receive priority.

The disputed material should be checked against the appropriate source and applicable version. A clinical or legal dispute may require qualified subject-matter review, not just comparison with an exam outline.

When an error is confirmed, the correction should extend to related material that repeats or depends on it. A report is not automatically accepted as correct, and the Contact form is not live chat or a guaranteed response channel.

The entries below preserve historical correction records. Their historical dates are not new review dates for the current versions of the linked pages.

September 24, 2026 — PTCB annual pass-rate interpretation

The PTCB exam prep hub previously treated the reported 2025 exam count as the annual pass-rate denominator, inferred an approximate count of nonpassing administrations, and stated without a source that the annual rate included retakes. We removed those inferences. The hub now gives the 69% published rate and discloses the two differing official 2025 counts: 49,253 administered on PTCB's numbers page and 48,235 delivered in its 2025 Progress Report. PTCB has not explained the difference or labeled its public annual rate a first-attempt rate. The dedicated PTCB pass-rate page explains the limits.

August 15, 2026 — NCMA passing-score scale

The NCMA score was incorrectly described as “Scaled 70.” It was corrected to a passing score of 575 on a 200–720 scale, including the verification box.

The recorded source was NCCT's January 2026 Candidate Handbook and scoring-scale update. The correction concerned the score scale, not the exam owner, fee, length, or time limit.

July 27, 2026 — ASWB 2026 question totals

An earlier version described 122 questions as scored. The correction distinguished 122 total questions: 110 scored and 12 unscored pretest questions. Related score and pacing explanations were revised accordingly for ASWB 2026 exam changes, ASWB Masters, and ASWB Clinical.

Privacy of reporters

A public correction should explain the content issue without publishing the reporter's private message or identifying details. Permission is required before publicly crediting a reporter by name.
